Hi everyone!!! I want to start out by thanking you all for praying for us!! We are all doing very well and have had so much fun so far! I'm excited to see what all God has planned for the team!
Alright, so flying in I didn't expect the wondrous sights. There are so many mountains/hills. And the clouds are so close, although one of our members doesn't have any kind of affection for them. AHH! Lol. It's amazing. The sunsets are beautiful over the ocean. I just love the view. Anywho, the children are great. They are so joyful yet they don't have much. Last night a fourteen year old led worship and he started talking about God and his passion for Christ was infectious. I wish teens in America were the same way.
We also painted today! I love painting! We talked to a few girls that were in that village and they loved Mr. Battiste's humor. We nodded our heads like yeah and watched the itsy bitsy spider climb up the water fount for them but they started asking about some American artists so we started singing a worship song. :P yay. It's such an amazing experience. I'm loving it.
